He grew up in Greensboro. He attended public school and graduated from Southeast Guilford Senior High School. He continued his education majoring in Chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Walrond is a member of: The American Dental Association, The Guilford County Dental Society, The North Carolina Dental Society, The American Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Virginia Anderson, a native of Asheboro, NC, is a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. She is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients while building lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect. With a calm demeanor and a gentle approach, she ensures that every patient feels comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Anderson is passionate about making dental care accessible to all, helping her patients better understand and improve their oral health. She takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment for everyone she serves. Outside of her practice, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring the local food scene, traveling, and nurturing her creative side through pottery. She is also a budding gardener, and enjoys growing veggies, flowers, and learning about native plants. Dr. Anderson is excited to bring her personal and professional experience to Pleasant Garden, where she looks forward to serving the community with compassion, care, and dedication.

Do you accept new patients?
Yes, we warmly welcome new patients of all ages! Please contact us to schedule your first appointment, and we’ll be happy to guide you through the initial steps.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm. Our office is closed on Fridays.
Do you offer emergency dentistry?
If you have an emergency, call us at (336)674-2328 to schedule an emergency appointment. We’ll do everything we can to see you on the same day.
What happens during a general dentistry checkup?
During a general dentistry checkup, we will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, and mouth to assess your oral health. This includes an evaluation for cavities, gum disease, and any other dental concerns. We may also take X-rays if needed and finish with a professional cleaning to remove plaque and tartar for a fresh, healthy smile.
What are my options if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible. We ask for at least 24 hours notice. We’ll be happy to work with you to find a more convenient time that suits your schedule.
